After our November 2022 Freedom of the Seas weekend cruise, we had a few hours to burn in Miami so we decided to check out the Little Havana Food Tour. While not a Royal sponsored excursion, I highly recommend trying this tour if you are in Miami before or after your cruise.

For more information or to book visit: https://www.miamiculinarytours.com/tour/little-havana-food-tour/

For roughly $70 per adult, you get a 2.5 hour walking tour through the Little Havana section of Miami including food & drink stops at local establishments.

Some of the culinary highlights included a Cuban sandwich, mojito, pastelitos, croquetas, cuban coffee, and churros. There were cultural stops at a cigar factory, Domino park, and Bay of Pigs Monument.

My favorite part of the trip was my introduction to the Cuban coffee. The tiny, sweet espresso shot offers as much caffeine as a full cup of traditional coffee. The trip to the cigar shop included a few moments for shopping which allowed me to pick up some ground espresso for home (which has now become a favorite afternoon treat).

For some additional video and my husband’s take on the excursion, check out the video below. We definitely didn’t agree on our favorites!
